    Who we are

    We are a newly founded tribe of multi-disciplinary professionals passionate about expanding the bank’s flagship offering for our corporate customers District.

    We place our customers at the center of everything we do and employ empathy and systems and design thinking to deliver innovative solutions across all digital touch points with our customers.

    The role

    As a member of the squad responsible for core functionality of the District web platform you will :

  • join an innovative and motivated team responsible for the overall web experience of District, which means you will have the opportunity to shape the overall navigation framework comprising dashboards, workspaces as well as notifications, messages, settings and user administration.
  • Partner with the central design system team to maintain and extend upon our design library to cater for varied use cases and workflows.
  • Be supported by your very own human-centered design chapter consisting of a wide range of CX, UX and UI specialists, which spans the organisation.

    Your profile

    You excel at designing and delivering digital solutions and have multiple impressive projects under in the belt. In past jobs you’ve had the responsibility for the structure of the user experience, and you have a portfolio that demonstrates a high-quality work process and design execution.

    You are passionate about user experience design and fluent in the full range of experience design processes and artefacts such as :

  • Adopting user research and data analysis methods to derive actionable design requirements
  • Articulating your design through information architecture, wireframes, prototypes and detailed UI design
  • Presenting your solutions, thought process and design rationale effectively to different audiences
  • Using Figma or similar to craft, test, documents and deliver solutions
  • You excel at collaborating and communicating with others in an open and positive way. You are an effective advocate for your user-centric design solutions and know how to balance what the user needs with what's really achievable.

    You work autonomously and are used to owning the projects you do. You understand how to navigate complex requirements and you have the ability to break down complexity to simple user-friendly workflows to achieve frictionless and delightful experiences for the end user.

    It would be a plus if you have

  • experience working in agile teams
  • been working in Figma for a while
  • experience designing complex data-driven software solutions
  • strong presentation and facilitation skills
